Today, it is estimated that 63 million children are missing from schools across America. This staggering number is directly linked to the number of abortions that have occurred since the Supreme Court’s landmark decision in Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion in the United States in 1973.
In some areas, the loss of children has been so great that schools have had to close. For the schools that remain open, the closing of schools has resulted in larger class sizes, reduced resources, and a more challenging learning environment for those who are still in the classroom. BRAVE Books mission is to help parents instill a love of truth in their children so that the children will withstand harmful progressive influences. Donating books to parents and communities that lack those types of resources, as a result of not just the abortion pandemic, but all other effects of the collapsing American culture, is just one small way that BRAVE mobilizes their mission.
These abortions obviously aren’t the only reason school enrollment has declined, and that topic can be saved for another day. Beyond the impact on the education system, the loss of so many children to abortion is a tragedy in and of itself. Every child has the potential to make a positive impact on the world, and every child deserves the chance to live, learn, and grow.
