The Brave Bulletin

BRAVE Books is becoming more than just a publishing company. When Kirk Cameron’s book, As you Grow was rejected from libraries in December of 2022, American families finally found their voice. Cameron and his library story hour movement has given parents the ability to enter into the battle that our Nation is fighting against cancel culture.
BRAVE Books has mobilized and the outpouring of support indicates that BRAVE did something important. Perhaps something that will forever change family entertainment in America.

Author and CEO of BRAVE Books, Trent Talbot has a vision for his company that not only challenges the Goliath of family entertainment, it replaces it. Disney has dominated family entertainment for the last 100 years and it's no secret that the company has catered to the progressive culture that has quietly and slowly begun phasing out American history and culture. Goliath is one of the most well-known villains in biblical history, especially for children, so it’s only fitting that Talbot steps into the heroic role of David to fight this villain.

Walt Disney’s vision of inclusivity formed when he realized the urban world was struggling and he needed to create a new prototype for how America should be. When Disneyland opened in CA (the first of Disney theme parks), Walt was displeased with the overall urban feel of the theme park which prompted a much more involved Walt in the design of Florida’s Disney World and EPCOT.
Talbot aims to build the BRAVE empire faster than Disney. A bold statement from a small business owner, but Disney’s more outspoken progressive rhetoric in recent years has sparked motivation in Talbot to lay out his plan for the future of family entertainment. BRAVE Books arms itself with a different conservative/Christian icon each month to author their books and provide creative and interactive pro-God, pro-American content for families. Talbot implemented phase one of his plan, which was establishing BRAVE as the trusted leader in children’s picture books. Eighteen months after the company’s creation, Talbot and his team feel confident checking off that goal and moving on to the next which is to produce content for all ages.

Thousands of people have shown up to Kirk’s story hours. Families are hungry for wholesome books, movies, shows, games, and events to attend and BRAVE will continue to expand what it can offer to families.

With a multi-saga plot, BRAVE’s books stay with kids throughout their childhood. BRAVE has built a foundation of content based on an entire universe called Freedom Island. They have mobilized a movement that is spreading nationwide and has given America its voice back. The sky’s the limit and by the time BRAVE Books is celebrating their 100 year anniversary, Disney will be a thing of the past. Walt saw the deterioration happening in America when Disneyland (CA) was built, so he created Disney World and EPCOT (FL) to attempt to model the future. That prototype has been overrun by the woke, and now it’s time for a BRAVE, new world.
