How to Use Hints and Reveals

For help with a puzzle that won't spoil the solution, head over to the HINTS section.

If you're looking for the solution to a puzzle or to check your answers, just head to the REVEALS section.

You get to choose how much you use the hints and reveals. The more you try to figure things out on your own, the more fun and rewarding the game will be.

Does anything on the dock image match another item from step 1?

Look at the flags.

Newspaper Hint 1

Look closely at every part of the newspaper.

Reveals

Step 1

Docks Picture Reveal

By matching the flags in the newspaper to the flags in the dock image, you should find the boat Sea Dog.

Newspaper Reveal

The newspaper will help you find the date of your departure (May 10) on the tickets and the solution to the flag puzzle.

Tickets Reveal

You should find the date of your departure on the Newspaper which tells you that the correct ticket is May 10.

Dock Crate Reveal

The shapes for the crate you need to find are on the typewriter stamp on the envelope.

Jigsaw Puzzle Reveal

You should see the letter F multiple times throughout the image.

Paper Strip Reveal

If you fold at the red seams, you should see the number 3.

Map Reveal

The coordinates 3,F should give you the Fire Hydrant Cave.

Step 2.5

Cat Difference Puzzle Reveal

The cat with the right winking eye at the coordinates 3,F is the correct answer.

Cat Maze Reveal

You should choose the path that avoids cats. The only path that avoids the cats is path 3.

Step 3

Bag Tag Math Puzzle Reveal

The word FIRE HYDRANT CAVE equals 159. That number multiplied by 3 is 477.

Cat Riddle/Folded Cave Image Reveal

Laser. Laser is the only option that satisfies each requirement.

Cipher Disc Reveal

By lining up the matching symbols that are on both reels, you should be able to decipher which letters match the symbols.

Cave Image Reveal 1

By deciphering the text in the cave, you should receive the message “Look to the Letters”.

Cave Image Reveal 2

The deciphered message leads you to look back at all of Archie’s letters with the light.

Box Reveal

The bottom of the game box has a false panel. You should find a key under it.
