Cancellation policy
CANCELLATION POLICY
You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account and selecting the option to cancel your subscription. Please check your email for a cancellation confirmation. Your cancellation will not be completed until you receive the confirmation email. If for some reason you have not received the cancellation confirmation, please contact customer support at info@brave.us. Cancellations AFTER renewal will not stop payment or shipping of previously purchased books. No refunds will be issued for canceled annual subscriptions or monthly subscriptions.
Monthly Subscription: By purchasing a Monthly Subscription, you agree to an initial and recurring Monthly Subscription fee at the then-current Monthly Subscription rate, and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges until you cancel your subscription. You may cancel your Monthly Subscription at any time, subject to the terms of our cancellation policy.
Automatic Monthly Renewal Terms: Once you subscribe, Brave Books will automatically process your Monthly Subscription fee in the next billing cycle. Brave Books will automatically process your Monthly Subscription fee each month at the then-current Monthly Subscription rate until you cancel your subscription. You may cancel your Monthly Subscription by logging into your account and selecting the option to cancel your Monthly Subscription.
Annual subscription: By purchasing an Annual Subscription, you agree to an initial pre-payment for one full year of books. After one year and annually thereafter, you will be billed a recurring Annual Subscription renewal fee at the then-current Annual Subscription rate. We will notify you via email 30 days before the renewal fee is billed. If you believe you have not received your renewal confirmation email, please check your spam folder and/or trash folder. If you still do not have your renewal confirmation email, please contact us info@brave.us.
You may cancel our Annual Subscription anytime before the next billing cycle, subject to the terms of our cancellation policy.
Annual subscription plans cannot be refunded mid-term. Cancellation will stop the automatic renewal, but you will continue to receive the remaining monthly shipments for the duration of the current subscription period.
Automatic Annual Renewal Terms: We bill your credit card for the Annual Subscription renewal fee in the first month of your next Annual Subscription.
For example, if you purchase an Annual Subscription in July of 2021 and ending in June of 2022, we will bill you for the second year (July 2022 to June of 2023) in July 2022 unless you cancel your Annual Subscription before July 2022. You accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation. Once you subscribe, Brave Books will automatically process your Annual Subscription fee at the then-current Annual Subscription rate. You may cancel your Annual Subscription by logging into your account and selecting the option to cancel your Annual Subscription.
Gifted Subscriptions
If you were gifted a subscription and need to make changes, please contact our team at info@brave.us.
Gifted subscriptions cannot be canceled, transferred, or returned without acknowledgement and approval from original purchaser. Refunds will not be issued on gifted subscriptions.
If you place or receive a gifted subscription and DO NOT want it to automatically renew, please contact us at info@brave.us immediately to cancel automatic renewal.
Creating Multiple Subscriptions
If you are purchasing subscriptions for multiple households, you will need to purchase each subscription separately. Select the first subscription you wish to purchase, and in the checkout, enter in the first recipient’s information before proceeding to the billing section. Once the first subscription has been purchased, you can proceed with purchasing the second subscription.
Please note that multiple subscriptions purchased at the same time will result in all subscriptions going to one address. Unfortunately, we will not be able to separate the subscriptions.
Updating Address
If you need to update your shipping address, you can do so by logging into your account. Click Manage Subscription, View Addresses, and then Edit beneath the address you wish to change.
Please note that any address changes made after an order has been processed will not guarantee change of address on that order. For example: If you receive your order confirmation for your current monthly shipment and need an address change, we cannot guarantee the address change will reflect on that shipment.
