BRAVE Books has partnered with Kirk Cameron to write a second book, Pride Comes Before the Fall. Pride Comes Before the Fall is a Christian, children's book that teaches kids the dangers of being prideful and the importance of having a humble spirit instead.
In every BRAVE Book, we partner with people of moral integrity, just like Kirk Cameron, to teach complex Christian and Conservative values.
In Kirk Cameron's newest book, Pride Comes Before the Fall, follow Valor as his pride puts him and his teammate in danger. Valor then realizes that some things are far more important than winning. "As"
"I really liked the children's book. I think it's so important to teach godly character traits to children in a way that they can relate. I believe that children would enjoy and understand the story. However, I do not want an ongoing charge or become a book club member please. My children are both grown and I do not have grandkids yet. I just wanted to check it out. Thank you!"
"My 4 daughters get so excited when we get these books in the mail. Thank you for writing books that are safe and wholesome for the entire family to enjoy! I recommend your books to all of my friends! Keep up the great work, we appreciate you!"
"I am so thankful and blessed at the work of Kirk Cameron and his friends who are making an impact with Brave Books and standing up for the Christian faith by fighting to keep the gospel message moving and getting these books filled with truthful lessons into homes. I read this book to my kids and they really liked the story and understood the morale of the story and we talked through the principles and the dangers of pride. While this is a good start, I would like to see a message for our older youth about how to use wisdom and discernment in a world where there's the message being thrown at them that the Pride agenda is normal or okay. It's not. While this book does a good job talking about pride in general, it doesn't seem to talk much about pride in terms of the LGBTQ community and how that has it's dangers as well. The illustrations are great and my kids especially like the elephant and how he uses his trunk to gain speed in the race. They appreciated some of the humor."
"I’m getting duplicate books that I’m paying for. I ordered the treasure chest among other things but I don’t like the monthly books are the same as in the chest set."
"I read this book with my 5 and 3 year old boys. The 5 year old enjoyed going back through the book to complete the find the umbrella team challenge. I like that there are challenges to complete that really allow my boys to become involved in activities rather than just listening to the story."
"Love Brave books!! So good for my grandsons!!"
"I ordered a few weeks ago and still haven 't received the book. First they couldn't find my order of the book, then asked me my email address. Then they had order going to Alabama and I sent correct address. Still no book. I would appreciate someone, knowledgeable would look into my order."
"The illustration pictures were bold & easy to understand. The wording of the story was easy for young readers. The lesson was perfect for teaching my granddaughter about how to put others first & how pride hinders that."
