"Got it for my 4 and 1 1/2 year old grandsons as a 250th year American celebration keepsake. Always good to start them young on knowing the truth about God and American history. More appropriate for the 4 year old and older, but we plan to take care of it and have it for a long time. The 4 year old really enjoys the story and pictures. High quality materials that should last for years."

A Step in the Right Direction

"I am thankful to see some books on truth being produced for our children. As a parent, a former librarian and a former kindergarten teacher, I am thankful to see these books written and in print for our children. I especially like that this book is written in rhyme, as that is easier for children to remember. My only hesitation about this particular book is that it is too vague for young children to understand. Children are probably not going to understand what is meant by, "James Madison shaped a plan for a government strong and fair, with checks and balances in place to guard the freedoms what we share. " Most children are not going to understand what checks and balances are. Too many ideas are covered in this short book for preschool and elementary children to understand."
