Story Summary:
Ludo the dog’s job is to protect the farm. He is a good guard dog, but the other farm animals only notice Blue the horse. Blue is big and strong; everything that Ludo is not. Wishing he could be more like Blue, Ludo sets out to become something he's not. But excitement for a new life turns into defeat when the chicks from the farm get taken, and Ludo can’t find them. Through an unexpected adventure, Ludo discovers that he doesn’t have to be as big or strong as Blue to help the farm. He just has to be himself. A nostalgic tale about comparison and purpose, Ludo’s story highlights the value of being exactly who you were made to be.

"I purchased 4 book & plush combos. They were given as Christmas gifts to my great nieces and nephews. They loved the books and plushies. The moms are all homeschooling their children and are happy to have a new book for their home program. I’ll admit to reading the book before I gave it to them at our Christmas party.
