A Simple Way to Help Save the Future of Farming

I’ve spent my life farming with my family. Watching farm ground slowly disappear, I knew I wanted to do something to inspire other kids to be farmers. That’s why I wrote my first children’s book. For every copy purchased, one gets donated to an FFA chapter across the country.

Product Description

The 100th annual Harvest Festival is a big deal for a small town, but an even bigger deal for Bonnie. It has to be perfect.

But before the festival can begin, there's a whole field to bring in, and the only tractor for the job is Roger, a rusty old-timer who's sat in the barn for years. Bonnie isn’t sure he is up to the task, but with the help of her community, each lending a skill passed down to them, Roger rumbles back to life. Then it's up to Bonnie to climb aboard, take the wheel, and learn to farm, one wobbly row at a time.

A gift for my grandson

"I have just glanced at the book. I really like the content and illustrations. My grandson’s other grandfather is a farmer in Filli, Nebraska. So Adam gets to do a lot of things on an actual farm. I can’t wait to give Adam his book for his birthday, which is in a few weeks. Thank you for supporting and giving folks a face for agriculture!"

Fun to Read Again!

"Recently read the book “Roger’s Hay Day” to my Grandsons (Miguel & Gabriel) I Loved the interaction reading to them it created! I’m not a professional voice actor but my Grandsons love to laugh when they hear the characters come to life! This book has a great story & wonderful characters we can understand & relate to! The author Laura Farms has a bright future as she hit this one out of the park for being a 1st time author! May the Lord continue to Bless her future endeavors."
