It was okay.

"I was hoping it was going to be a bit more Encyclopedia Brown-ish than it was. It wasn't exactly clues you could put together to figure out the plan and who was behind it. While the culprit was way too obvious, the existance of a flying dragon ship was too out there to figure out from the hints given. Also, we never got the last 4 pieces to the letter and then, there it was, all together in the back of the book. My son had been assembling it piece by piece, book by book, and had the fragments on his wall. I had to copy the finished letter from the back of the book, then trace the last 4 pieces as best I could and cut up the copy so he could finish putting it together himself, but Thayer was after he saw it in the book. It was disappointingly anticlimactic after getting one piece at a time and waiting so long, just to have the end spoiled for him when he turned the page."

"Very cool book. Brave books always have a nice story with a good point and fun games at the end. I wish God was mentioned in the books. We had the year subscription but it ended so I used my rewards to put towards this one. I love the books, but the subscription constantly sent me duplicate or wrong books. I have books from saga one, some of saga 3 and here we don't even have all of saga 2."

Q&A

I already purchased the first set of 10. Is there a second set of 10 to purchase instead of each book alone? I am going to Oregon in three weeks to see my grandchildren. They loved the first set and read every one ot them. Both their parents are very liberal. I need the rest of these books in three weeks not once a month.

How many pages are in the books, are they a short 12 pages or are they longer? Are they like the Bernstein bears books as far as length?
All of our books are between 48 and 56 pages long, but the pages are mainly illustrations and don't have too much text.
